24/10/2026 7pm London - 100 Club
CZ invasion to UK
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 7 p.m., London's 100 Club will host a double concert by Czech punk bands Visaci Zamek and Znouzectnost. The concert will be opened by special guest Dasa Fon Flasa, a Slovak punk singer-songwriter.
The bands Znouzectnost and Visaci Zamek need no introduction to the Czechoslovak audience. For the British audience, we would like to mention that both bands have been touring the Czech Republic and Slovakia for over 40 years and both have also played concerts in the United Kingdom. Visaci Zamek last performed in London in 2007, Znouzectnost made their London debut in 2024 at the sold-out Cart and Horses club.
Znouzectnost (in English translation „Virtue of Necessity“) was founded in 1987 in the West Bohemian city of Plzeň, which is known for the production of Pilsner Urquell beer. After the Velvet Revolution in 1989 in the Czechoslovakia, they became a fixture in Czech clubs and festivals, playing dozens of concerts every year. In their forty years of existence, they have released 16 albums, the latest The End…? in 2024.
Visací zámek (in English translation „Padlock“) was founded in Prague in 1982 by students of the Czech Technical University and is therefore the oldest active punk band in the former Czechoslovakia. Currently, they are one of the most visited bands in the Czech Republic, and they also play dozens of concerts in clubs and the largest Czech festivals every year. They have released 11 albums, the last one in 2020. The band is famous for its already popular slogan "Punk's not dead you idiots".

The 100 Club in London's Soho is said to be the oldest independent club in the world. It was founded during the war in 1942 as the Feldman Jazz Club, and in 1964 it was renamed to its current name, after its address – 100 Oxford Street. Over its more than eighty-year existence, thousands of bands and performers of all musical genres and styles have performed there, including the Rolling Stones, Metallica, Alice Cooper, Blur, B.B. King, Paul McCartney, The Who, Queens of the Stone Age, Oasis, Suede and The Clash. In 2025, the Sex Pistols secretly performed here with new singer Frank Carter.
In its entire decade of existence, the club has never hosted a Czech artist. Znouzectnost and Visaci Zamek will be the first to be given the opportunity to represent the Czech scene in this iconic space.
The club's capacity is 320 people. Sale of tickets will start on Saturday, November 1, 2025 on the Dice.fm network or tickets can be found via the club's website www.the100club.co.uk.
